This is the flagship journal of the AEJMC. This quarterly, peer-reviewed journal is ranked in the Journal Citation Reports and focuses on research in journalism and mass communication. Established in 1924, it is the oldest refereed scholarly journal in mass communication and provides leadership in scholarship for the field. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Few articles are available open access.
