Rotaract Club

Under the patronage of Rotary Club of Ghatkopar and the Inner Wheel Club of Mumbai, the Rotaract Club of the college organises various community service activities. The club infuses pride and purpose in the minds of its young members. Rotaract Club activities are planned and organized by the students. In coordination with the Rotary Club, Inner Wheel Club and various committees of the college following activities were organized:

  • Garba Dress Competition for members on October 21, 2023.
  • Installation Day of Rotaract Club on October 28, 2023.
  • Logo-making competition for an Instagram account of Rotaract Club on November 08, 2023. 10 Rotarian members participated in this activity and one best logo was selected.
  • ‘Diwali Delights: Sharing Food, Spreading Smiles’ activity for food distribution to poor and needy people by Rotarian members on November 11, 2023 at Ghatkopar railway station.
  • Participation in Youth Conclave organized by Rotaract club of Mumbai, Ghatkopar on December 10, 2023.
  • A talk by Dr. Janinka Shah on Awareness about cancer of the reproductive system on December 18, 2023 for college students and Rotarian members.
  • A fundraiser party for orphanage children on December 23, 2023 at college and collected Rs.3200 through the entry fee of this party.
  • Canvas Art Slay activity on January 09, 2024 for college students.
  • Health Week 2023-24 along with NSS unit in collaboration with Inner-wheel Club of Mumbai Ghatkopar from January 16 To 18, 2024. Specialist doctors were called to talk to students and create awareness. Hemoglobin testing, dental checkup and eye checkup was conducted.
  • Members participated in solo dance, pair dance and group dance competition organized by Rotary Club of Mumbai Parleshwar, Dadar on January 20 and 27, 2024. Our members won first prize in pair dance and group Dance.
  • Members celebrated Women’s day on April 6, 2024 with college women sweepers and peons and showed gratitude through distribution of gift hampers to 12 women sweepers and peons.
