Part Time Vocational:
Certificate & Advance Courses
A Unit of Smt. P.N. Doshi Women’s College Affiliated to
Skill Development & Vocational Training Institute Of India
About Us
Swadhar Career Institute, a unit of Smt. P. N. Doshi Women’s College was established in the year 2004, and is managed by SPRJ Kanyashala Trust whose aim is to enhance and improve women’s education, so as to liberate and empower them.
The conventional degree courses alone are often not enough to guarantee a job to the graduate. Also many women students do not get to do these degree courses because of financial, family or social constraints. Hence, a career institute was started to train these students in a particular skill, which will give them more opening in industry, service and self-employment sectors which will make them financially self reliant. These career oriented courses were designed to be part- time courses so that students already pursuing a degree course can also take advantage of it simultaneously.
We have tied up with Skill Development and Vocational Institute India (SDVTII). At the end of the course certificate will be issued by SDVTII which will add to the value of the course. Training in Spoken English and Soft Skills are part of all the programmes.
Swadhar Career Institute offers part-time Certificate and Advanced Courses in various fields. The syllabi for all these course have been designed carefully, keeping in mind the requirements of the industry. The objective of these courses is to impart necessary skills to the students and make them confident and professionally competitive. All the courses give special emphasis on the practical component which gives the students hands on experience.
