Our NCC unit is part of 5 Maharashtra Girls Battalion and can enroll 52 cadets every year. We have a trained ANO who looks after NCC activities. Other than weekly parade and camps, cadets are engaged in many other community activities. The college encourages students to participate in N.C.C. activities as it helps them to develop strength, tenacity, responsibility and courage. Students from Junior and Senior Colleges are eligible for enrolment. Interested students should be physically fit and have a minimum height of 5’.5”.Our NCC Unit received the Vice- Chancellor’s Banner in the years 2011-2012, 2013-2014, 2015-2016 and 2017-2018.
ANO Jyoti Madye was promoted from Captain Rank to Major Rank.

15 cadets participated in Environment Programme at SNDT Women’s University on June 20, 2025
A rally on ‘World Drug Day was organised on June 26, 2025 with 13 Cadets.
12 cadets participated in Tree Plantation Program held at Sarvodaya Buddha Vihar Tilaknagar, Chembur on July 06, 2025.
2 Pilots and 2 cadets participated in 102nd Foundation Day of S.P.R Jain Kanyashala. Lieutenant Colonel Manoj Kumar Sinha was the Chief Guest for the day on July 30, 2025.
19 cadets participated in Beach cleaning drive at Girgaon Chowpatty with NSS volunteers on September 16, 2025.
6 cadets participated in a tree plantation drive in the college campus on October 13, 2025.
13 Cadets participated in International Yoga Day at College premises on June 21, 2025.
4 Cadets attended Foundation Day of SNDT Women’s University on July 05, 2025
16 cadets participated in Tree Plantation Program and celebrated Paper Day at Kasara on July 12, 2025. Cadets planted 60 saplings on the hills near Mokhavane-Kasara. Significant support for the tree plantation has also extended by the Forest Department.
17 cadets participated in the Tree Plantation drive at Bhatwadi Ghatkopar on September 13, 2025.
15 cadets performed volunteer duty during Dussehra, Ramleela event On October 12, 2025. The cadets helped in crowd control and maintaining discipline throughout the program.
21 cadets participated in ‘Run for Unity’ on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary On October 31, 2025.
NCC unit celebrated following events:
On the occasion of Handmade Paper Bag Day, conducted an eco-friendly initiative during tree plantation drive at Kasara to spread awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and promote the use of sustainable alternatives on July 12, 2025. The volunteers distributed 60 Handmade paper bags made by students as a part of an eco-craft initiative using recycled paper to local shopkeepers and vendors. The volunteers interacted with shopkeepers, explaining the environmental benefits of using paper bags over plastic ones.
The NSS unit in collaboration with ARPAN NGO conducted a seminar session on ‘Child Sexual Abuse’ on July 27, 2025. The Program Associates were Mr. Vijaya Ghoderao and Program officer Mr. Resham Panikar. 50 Volunteers attended this seminar.
A Mass Pledge against Drug Abuse under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, following directives from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and the Narcotics Control Bureau was conducted on August 14, 2025. The NSS volunteers and students pledged to abstain from drugs and spread awareness about their harmful effects, reinforcing their commitment to a healthier, addiction free society.
Soil Article Making activity was organised on August 25, 2025 in collaboration with the Cultural committee. During this, students made beautiful Ganesh idols with soil.
Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated on July 26, 2025 in the college campus. The NCC & NSS units jointly organized the activity. Guest speaker Mr. Manoj Kadam spoke about civil defense. The program started with a parade by NCC Cadets, followed by ‘Saluting the Honor- Amar Jawan Smarak’ and lighting candlesticks. In the end there was a presentation based on Kargil war in the Auditorium.
Organized a session on ‘Cyber Security Awareness’ by Mr. Amit Utenkar (API) from the Cyber Crime Branch to educate students about safe online practices, digital privacy and prevention of cyber-crimes on August 11, 2025. He shared valuable insights on various cyber threats such as online fraud, identity theft and misuse of social media. The session also included practical tips on creating strong passwords, recognizing suspicious links, and reporting cybercrime incidents.
79th Independence Day was celebrated on August 15, 2025 in the college premises with flag hoisting and cultural events.
Blood donation drive in collaboration with Sir J.J. Hospital, Mumbai was organised on September 26, 2025, where both students and staff members of our college donated the blood.

8 cadets attended CATC, ALC, BEST CADET camp – 408 held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Palghar from June 13 to 22, 2025.
CSM Ms. Nikita Gaykar attended ALC (Advance Leadership Camp) at Artillery Centre, Nashik on August 3, 2025.
3 cadets attended Pre- IGC II RDC selection Camp at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Raigad conducted by 6 MAH BN from September 8 to 17, 2025.
CQMS Ms. Purva Gawde attended EBSB camp at Air Force Station, Tambaram, Tamilnadu on August 1, 2025.
Ms. Sneha Yadav attended IGC RDC Selection Camp from September 7 to 11, 2025. JUO Camp was held at Pune conducted by 6 MAH BN. From September 20 to 29, 2025 she attended Pre-IGC III RDC selection camp conducted by 6 MAH BN at DBATU, Raigad.
CQMS Ms. Anjali Mali attended the hospital attachment camp at INHS Ashvini Colaba from October 06, to 17, 2025.
Other Activities:
JUO Ms. Pratibha Mishra got ‘Best Cadet Award’, ‘Best Senior College Volunteer Award’ was achieved by CQMS Ms. Priyanka Singh and Best Junior College Volunteer Award was Achieved by Cadet Tanushri Begde. The awards were given to the cadets on December 23, 2023 on the occasion of college annual day.
Cadets appeared for B Certificate Exam at MMP Shah College, Matunga on February 10 and 11 2024, and for C Certificate examination at M.D.Shah Mahila College, Malad on March 3, 2024.
