The Progression and Placement Cell functions with the twin fold focus i.e., providing guidance and assistance to students to achieve their career goals and by enabling industry to identify and absorb intellectuals with requisite technical & Managerial skills. It consists of representatives from each Stream and acts as a crucial link between training program of the students and their suitable employment. The Cell is inclined to train students for competitive exam and incorporates employability enhancement programme to provide awareness on soft skills, self-employment, industry insights and job opportunities.
The cell takes adequate steps in identifying the current demands of the industry and prepares students towards the desire industry needs. Students from all streams are given job opportunities through On Campus as well as through of Off-Campus Career Exploration Fairs. Our students are placed successfully at various orgnisations such as TCS, ICICI productial, HDFC Bank, Reputed Media Organisations, Data Matrics, Wipro and Infosys.
An Incubation Centre has been established in collaboration with Brainiac Cognitive Solutions in 2019. Students are motivated by Industry experts and established entrepreneurs to set up their own entrepreneurial projects and a provision of seed money is given.

Link Intime India Pvt. Ltd.
Link Group headquartered in Sydney which is a market-leading provider of technology-enabled services. Link Intime, is an ISO 27001:2013 conducted a placement drive with the students of our college. They offered job opportunities in sections like Client Relation, Security processing, Contact centre and Legal Section. The placement drive started on July 19, 2023, where 48 students were interviewed and one student Ms Paneri Redkar (BMS) got selected for the role of client relations.
Technoserve orientation programme
Training and Placement Cell organized an Orientation program by Team Techno Serve on August 31, 2023. All faculties’ third year students attended the session conducted by the coordinator Ms Komal Choube. Out of 207 students who attended the session, 90 students across faculties have been selected for further training. 19 students were placed through the Technoserve placement drive from the month of June to November 2023.
An online interview for TY students of all faculties was scheduled on January 8, 2024 by Zone Media and Viral Pitch. Five students from BMM and one student from BMS appeared for the position of Trainee Management and Digital Ad Sales, 3 students cleared the first Interaction round with HR and qualified for the second round.
The Avniro Group conducted a placement drive where 39 students successfully completed the registration process.
Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) Department had organized a training session of 248 hours on ‘Advanced Program in Web Designing’ from December 11, 2023 by Anudip Foundation for TY BCA students.
An orientation session on Career opportunities for girls in ‘Reserve Bank of India’ was organized for all the final year students, conducted by representatives from RBI on January 9, 2024.
In an orientation session by ‘Anudip Foundation’ on January 23, 2024 by Mr Manoj Gupta and Mrs Swarali Bhalerao various courses under Anudip Founation which are run free of cost and certified by IBM were explained. A total 181 students attended this session.
The BAMM Department organized Placement Training program for TYBAMM students led by Alumni. Three sessions have been conducted on January 11, March 23 and April 13, 2024.
Brightwayz Orientation Programme
Brightwayz orientation program was organized on August 11, 2023. 255 students from all faculties attended the session. Mr. Niketan, founder of Brightwayz created awareness of the MBA, MMS and PGDBM courses along with the process of enrolling into these courses. He also emphasized on the previous result of SPND students and shared their success stories. Mr. Niketan shared the course structure, fee details and other information required to prepare for CET. Further, the course of action and training sessions were also shared with students for the coming year.
DeltaX
DeltaX is a Data-Driven Digital Advertising. Founded in 2012, the platform serves as the pioneer in the Advertising Technology Industry. They conducted a placement drive with the students of our college offering roles as Digital Marketing Champion, Digital Operations Analyst, Business Operations Analyst and Talent Acquisition and Admin They conducted a placement drive on November 9, 2023.
Placement Drive by iRobokid was organized in the college on March 5, 2024. 50 students appeared for the first round of interview. 16 students got selected for various roles like Trainers or Business Development Executives.
Total 4 batches of training were conducted this year by TNS IF. A total 156 students registered across 4 batches across all faculties. The certified students participated at various career drives across Mumbai. Till date 123 students are successfully placed at different positions in reputed companies. The details are as follows
- 19 certified students participated at a career fest at SIWS College, Wadala on January 31, 2024. All 19 were selected for deserving positions.
- During on campus career fest on February 15, 2024, around 350 certified trainees of TNS IF across various degree colleges from Mumbai including 74 certified students from our college participated in the drive and were placed at their deserving positions.
- 30 certified students from TNS IF participated at a career fest organized at SNDT College, Matunga. All 30 were selected.
17 students from TYBMS participated and got placed in campus placement drive conducted by Technoserve Pvt Ltd on February 15, 2024.
